Yesterday, I had my weekly lab for my biology class (BI158). It was more frustrating than usual because we had to look for different kinds of protists from different sources of water on island. Tina and Cathy(class aides/instructors) brought different samples of water, freshwater and saltwater, from different water sources (Pago, Agat, Ipan and even the field house). The problem for me was I had no clue what I was supposed to look for. The handout we had did not really have a lot of examples and it was very time consuming. It took a whole three hours to find 5 types of protists, my frustration at this lab work was really high. I wanted to flip the table, I really did want to. Overall, it could have gone better but I was able to learn how to find and identify different protists from different sources.

Learning: Fun and Frustration
This week started out as usual, assignments and quizzes to study for. I learned about shaped poetry in literature class (EN210). I made an imagery based on one of the poems we read in class and an assignment where we make our own poem. I liked how my professor teaches this class. It is more interactive and brain stimulating. I usually have a hard time paying attention in english classes but I am actually having fun in this class.
