This week in my education class (ED271) we had an in class activity that involved M & M's. I was really tempted to open the bag and eat them. We were given a handout of the activity and put into groups. It was a fun activity of counting the M & M's and the different colors then eventually eating them. We had to make a graph of our data using the Excel program and share the document between the three of us (Kristen, Pejo, and I).
For this week's lab, we had to classify different plants (Archaeplastids) like ferns, monocots, eudicots, mosses, cycads, and a few more. We also had to look and compare a sample of green algae and hydrilla. After that we went outside to the Dean's circle and searched for samples of these different plants and take pictures. Then we went back and made spore prints from the mushrooms we had.
